Having worked in the New Mexico film industry for several years on the camera department, Jannis is a multicultural storyteller who brings his worldwide and diverse visual aesthetics to the images he captures as a cinematographer on independent films. Hailing from Duisburg, Germany and garnering childhood experiences from Soller, Mallorca in Spain. After finishing high school in Costa Rica, he eventually landed in Ohio where he studied Electronic Media at the University of Cincinnati. He would go on to train as a film crew technician at the Central New Mexico Community College, and has since then accumulated a number of film and television credits on projects such as "Finch", "Coyote v. Acme", "Vengeance"  and "Blue Boy". As a cinematographer, Jannis has lighted and lensed several award-winning short films and is always on the lookout for a challenge and an opportunity to grow as a visual storyteller.
